Lifetime Non-Prorated Transferable Warranty

At North Country Windows & Baths, we proudly stand behind the quality of every window and door we install. That’s why our products are backed by a lifetime non-prorated transferable warranty that offers you long-term peace of mind and protection that lasts.

This industry-leading warranty covers materials, workmanship, and key performance components for as long as you own your home. Even better, it’s transferable to a second homeowner, helping protect your investment and enhance your property value.

What’s Covered Under the Warranty?

  • Welded corners are guaranteed never to separate.
  • PVC extrusions are protected against chipping, cracking, delaminating, peeling, fading, blistering, pitting, and warping.
  • Painted exterior colors are covered for:
  • 20 years against blistering, cracking, and peeling
  • 10 years against fading
  • Fully transferable to a new homeowner.

Screens, Hardware, and Moving Parts

  • Lifetime warranty covers screen frames, screen cloth, balances, tilt latches, crank mechanisms, rollers, and all other hardware.
  • If screen cloth rips or tears, a new one will be provided at no charge (labor excluded)
  • All hardware is covered against cracking, breaking, or mechanical failure.

Insulated Glass Units

  • Glass seals are guaranteed not to fail under normal use.
  • Glass is protected from internal film formation or dirt obstruction under ASTM C1036 specs
  • Units with integrated SunBlinds are covered for 10 years.
  • Warranty is transferable—new homeowners receive a 50% discount on replacement insulated glass units if needed.

Glass Breakage Protection

  • Factory-assembled trim is warrantied against manufacturing defects and poor workmanship for the life of the home.
  • Warranty is transferable.

Installation

  • Certified Restorations Professionals install all windows and doors in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Proper installation is critical to the validity of the warranty.

What’s Not Covered?

  • Condensation or frost due to indoor or outdoor humidity is not considered a defect.
  • Caulking is not covered under the product warranty.
  • Natural variations in wood grain and texture (for Madera trim) are not considered defects.
  • Improper installation, misuse, or acts of God may void the warranty.
  • For commercial properties, the warranty is limited to 50 years.

Warranty Transfer Details

The warranty may be transferred once to a second homeowner. A $150 transfer fee is required, paid directly to Sunrise Windows, Ltd.

Transfer must be submitted within 90 days of property transfer. For warranty transfer requests, please contact customercare@miwd.com or call 717-365-2500.

How to Register Your Warranty

To activate your warranty coverage, please complete the online registration form within 90 days of installation.

You’ll need:

  • Your name and address
  • Installing dealer’s name
  • Sales order number (from the dealer)

Making a Warranty Claim

All claims should be directed to your installing contractor. Sunrise Windows, Ltd. reserves the right to inspect the window or door before determining repair or replacement. Shipping and handling costs may apply. Labor is not covered under the product warranty and may be billed separately by your installer.
